Today felt so different!I have been in choir for 5yrs already, i admit though i loved singing, but doing the same thing can be very dry and routine...
But i just felt so revived and excited to serve God today, its such a priviledge to serve such a beautiful and wonderful God!
I love God!
I have a dream...its to serve God on stage as a backup vocalist! I wonder if it will come true?
Not just for my own glory but for God!
Anyway, Pst Phil today preached very great message!!!!!
Its about Higher Anointing...
Today was Part 1
Lk 4:18
18 “ The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
The price for anointing is high, you don't just pay it once, but you have to pay it several times or even all your life!
The fact that so little people get the anointing proves just that.
Everything that you do, especially when it is a crisis, God has anointed you and given you the strength for it.
At different stages of your life, you'll have a calling to different things. At each stage, God has in stored that anointing for you to fulfill that calling.
The measure of anointing is determined by the victory you have over the trial that you face.
This is the Cost of Anointing.
Trial is the biggest complement you get from God, as God has confidence that you have ability to come out of it victorious!
Things will go wrong when you are in the will of God.
It is not all things will go right when u are in the will of God, but all things will work for good for all those who puts their trust in the LORD!
This world is going to be changed by all those who have high level of anointing in their life.
- ALONE
Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.
Devil will always attack you when you are alone.
When an animal leaves the group, it becomes sick and are vulnerable to the attack of other animals.
Similarly, when we are away from our church-alone, we become easily offended by people and get attacked.
An angry an easily offended person cannot change the world.
Psa 190:165
165 Great peace have those who love Your law,
And nothing causes them to stumble.
1 Cor 13
Don't get easily offended with small stuff, everything is small stuff.
- HUNGRY
Don't let hunger compromise your values.
No trial will last forever. It is only for season!
Lk 4:3
And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”
Self-doubt is the weakest chain in Christians.
Because we need to be sure that we are accepted by God.
Mk 4:17
17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.
You will wilt if you do don't have root in yourself. Your nourishment is in other's comment or circumstances. Therefore, you will be affected when the comments or circumstances are bad.
When you accept Jesus into your life, it does not mean that you have accepted yourself. Do you like being yourself? Are you happy being you?
When you are secure in yourself, you won't feel threatened when others rise above you or become better than you.
When God calls you, you'll go through a trial but God will give you a revelation to give you the strength to overcome it:D
The rhema word will never contradict the logos.
What is written must become rhema, it becomes alive in you.
Mind can only change the mind. To change the world it has to be spirit to spirit.
Psa 1:3
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
Whatever tree that you want to get, you have to plant the seed 1st.
So to meditate, you have to speak the word repeatedly until it gets into your soul, then it can bring life.
The word can only bring life when it gets into your soul, which comes by meditation.
When you come to Christ, you'll discover your purpose and life despite of the trials and pain in your life.
